Hartford Ballroom is independently owned dance studio that was created by none other than my mother, Michele Evans. Michele has been teaching ballroom dancing since 1981. For many years she rented the floor at the West Hartford Masonic Hall and taught multiple classes twice a week. Her unique teaching ability had increased her student body to the point where her classes would regularly contain more than 50 people. She finally created her own business moved into a new space on Arbor Street in 2009, and has been there ever since.

At Hartford Ballroom, we teach a variety of classes, both group and private, ranging from absolute beginner to pre-silver levels. Each month we teach one dance form per class, with the dance form advancing to the next level the following month. We also host 3 dance socials a month.
